Erik — sound designer & sonic artist

It all began in 2005, playing and singing alternative Latin rock with friends. From 2009 to 2011 I studied music at Fermatta Guadalajara and began experimenting with electronic music —the bridge before crossing the ocean. In Melbourne, Australia (2012–2015) I studied audio production at SAE and wrote my thesis bridging sound healing and contemporary music production. That research led me to facilitate sound in yoga classes —holding the space with voice and singing bowls— and in early 2014 I began working with Salana. With her I entered a deep, magical practice of angelic sound healing that finally fused my two paths into one, and they've traveled together ever since. Muluk is the sign of water and the moon — flow, presence, offering; that's why, for me, sound was never just craft.

What I can do for you lives between my craft and my calling. My craft is sound design for screen and stage: the full arc of audio post-production, through to the final mix. My calling is sound as medicine —to move the body freely or to return to stillness—: sound baths, ecstatic dance, soundscapes for yoga and meditation, and live sound-healing experiences, grounded in what science knows about sound and breath, and in over a decade of ceremony.

Behind every project and every ceremony beats a single purpose: to let sound return you to yourself. A mix, a meditation or a live journey can be ways of remembering —of tuning, beneath the noise, into the frequency of who you already are. I didn't come to fix you; I came to return what you've always carried. And what you remember doesn't stay with you: you return to your center, and those around you hear it too. That's the offering behind Muluk Sound.

In the studio, your project is finalized for the medium it launches on — internet, television or cinema — in a facility that has delivered content for major streaming platforms and theaters. And live, in ceremony, sound becomes presence: music, meditations and events in the Portal, open to the community that resonates.
